John Wick: Chapter 4 continues the series’ trend of amping up the wildly inventive action sequences, as they are some of, if not the most well-choreographed film has seen since honestly the last. As I was a huge fan of Rina Sawayama’s music prior to her being in this, was underwhelmed by her minimal role here, but the additional new players in Bill Skarsgard & Donnie Yen do a great job in their dominating and demanding performances. Keanu Reeves is excellent as always. and the near three hour length is paced pretty effectively. While I would have it ranked as the second best film in the franchise, right now I feel like chapters two & three have a stronger sense of rewatch-ability, for what it’s worth.
