  Most of the characters in this movie felt so immature that I couldn't get immersed in anything. The dramatic parts weren't that dramatic, and comedy was this movie's strong suit (but there could have been much more of it). Almost every character was unlikeable (besides the dad), but that was likely intentional. There were parts I liked, and some of the shots were pretty. I liked watching it because I watched it with my friends.

  This was my favorite film for a good few years in elementary school, and so I gave it a rewatch for the first time in many years. Despite its numerous small flaws, I am happy to say that I still love this film. The characters are so special and full of life; I love them all. I am sure that this movie inspired me growing up in ways I can't full describe. I am so happy that this movie exists.
