"Yes, these crackles are made of synthetic goose and these giblets come from artificial squab and even these apples look fake - but at least they've got stars on them. I guess my point is, we'll eat tonight, and we'll eat together. And even in this not particularly flattering light, you are without a doubt the five and a half most wonderful wild animals I've ever met in my life. So let's raise our boxes - to our survival."
Fantastic Mr. Fox is the most cussing fantastic animated film I've ever seen. It's so incredibly charming, and I love every single frame of it.
The writing is sharp, the voice-acting is perfect, and Wes Anderson's unique style of filmmaking still shines even through the animation format. And speaking of the animation, I can't imagine this film in any other way than the stop motion it ended up being, It's no doubt the best animated film I've ever seen. The fact that this film is not only perfect for people of all ages, but also contains many mature and interesting messages and themes is great. It's not often you see a family film that is truly for the whole family. Wes Anderson is an actual genius for crafting a film for literally anyone. I love this film so much.
