A perfectly fine crime drama. While I got a bit frustrated with how the story was being told, Reptile did keep me intrigued in the mystery up until the end. Of course, the culprits aren't exactly surprising, but there are decent moments of suspense throughout. And Benicio Del Toro is great.

I am of the mindset that, when adapting a book to screen, changing certain things isn't always a bad thing. Oftentimes, it can be necessary. However, when your changes ultimately diminish what makes the story special, then it becomes trickier.
