  Hello Toronto of the early 80s!

  Another one of those films I swear I had seen. I recalled scenes but not sure if that's because I had seen those clips before or if I had watched the full feature.

  I could see what Lester was trying to accomplish here. I don't know if he pulled it off but I loved how much it leaned into the slightly dystopic vision of the future. Everyone was committed, for sure.

  Trippier than I expected.  At times it was like watching Jack Kirby panels.  I definitely enjoyed this more than recent Marvel efforts.
