    Coyote Creek Christmas

    ★★

Suitable Xmas vibes, but 'Coyote Creek Christmas' lacks any interest.

I found the full duration of this 2021 flick to be a rather dull affair, the story is as predictable as they come and the characters/actors don't do anything to stand out. I didn't personally find much warmth or onscreen chemistry from leads Janel Parrish and Ryan Paevey, or from anyone else in this for that matter.

Even for made-for-television festive movies, there is better out there than this. Forgettable.

    A Heidelberg Holiday

    ★★½

    Your average made-for-television festive flick.

'A Heidelberg Holiday' doesn't bring major Xmas feeling though, it didn't feel as Christmassy as I'd want via my personal liking but what is produced is close enough. The German aspects are cool, especially for an American-made movie.

I thought the 'delayed delivery' side of the story was gonna pack more of a punch than it did, I was getting magical elf worker vibes but maybe that was my imagination expecting too much from a…

    We Couldn't Become Adults

A tough one to review as I'm not totally sure how I feel about it.

I'll start with the positives that I have for 'We Couldn’t Become Adults'. For one, the cast. I enjoyed the performances from those onscreen, I wouldn't say any of them are all that all-star but I did like watching them act. Mirai Moriyama, Sairi Itô and Sumire stick out most. The look of the film is also nicely done, while there's a neat end credits…

    Raya and the Last Dragon

    ★★★½

    Very good!

'Raya and the Last Dragon' improves upon Disney's other two animated theatrical releases from the 2020s in 'Onward' and 'Soul' to deliver a thoroughly entertaining fantasy adventure. The characters are enjoyable, the animation is superb and, arguably most importantly, the story comes out, at least to me, as very intriguing; I didn't feel a dull moment.

Kelly Marie Tran and Awkwafina are the film's two standouts from the voice cast. Tran is faultless as Raya, while Awkwafina brings…
