I loved Encanto.
It was also nice to see a movie play a little into magical realism and the culture of Colombia.
As a first generation American born from Hispanic immigrants and as someone raised in Denver where the Hispanic culture is predominate, I felt happily represented in the music, the visuals, and the dynamic of the family.
Thanks Coco and Encanto for showcasing the intergenerational trauma is common within the Hispanic community.
