Letterboxd — Your life in film

I love this ultra sleazy Giallo directed by Massimo Dallamano, it’s a great hybrid of Giallo & crime film that nails both genres while marrying them perfectly

I dig this De Palma-esque thriller. Hollywood used to crack this type of film out all the time, it’s be great if they would do that again

Superman, Luke Skywalker and John Carpenter walk into a barn.

Might be the greatest visual art I’ve ever seen.

Very light on the sci-fi which made it feel like a gimmicky way to juice up an otherwise average indie road trip script.

Some hard science exposition upfront could have made a big difference.

SISU RULES!!!!!!! Go see this wonderfully entertaining action film now y’all! Sisu would play brilliantly with Inglorious Basterds for some amazing Nazi killing cinema fun. The lead character Aatami is a prospector who is simply trying to get his gold to the bank, but then a small group of Nazis fuck with him, then it’s fucking on!!! The character of Aatami reminded me of Daniel Plainview, two men who will never bend their will or stop in achieving their goals till their dying breathes

Had tons of fun. Did not need to be that long though. But still had tons of fun.

My second favorite Evil Dead film.
