Carson Hearne’s review published on Letterboxd:
Alright, being a 17 year old film buff this should not have been my first viewing of this film. Especially since Gene Wilder is one of my favorite comedians of all time. This movie is absolutely brilliant. Full of ridiculous and crazy sequences, each highly popular in their own right. This movie is much more than just a movie about a chocolate factory. It's a showcase of what true humility is. It reminds you of what is truly important in life and is a film that makes you reflect yourself. This was truly a heartwarming and somewhat frightening experience of a movie that is ageless.
