Lizzy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Words, much less mine, couldn’t do justice to how Megan Park tries to do better than the bare minimum everybody treats traumatized children with in the media, even if I’m sometimes in awe of the tone deaf aspects that get tossed around (Gen Z people don’t unironically announce somebody’s death through an emoji), and so much of Park’s strength is in her ability to meet an actor on an actor’s turf. It’s filtered for perceived teenage “safety” but it’s some of the most Not Abysmal trauma performance you’ll ever see from people who obviously don’t know what it’s like.
