Daryl’s review published on Letterboxd:
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is Marvel’s latest offering from phase four. A refreshing addition to the MCU with its excellent fight choreography, strong story, glowing visuals and nice direction. Simu Liu and Awkwafina are both great as Xu Shang-Chi and Katy respectively and they have a pleasing chemistry. Shang-Chi is just so likeable and I cannot wait to see what they do with him next. The film knows when to be serious and funny, the balance works, and the tone is just about right. A top-tier MCU film with brilliant pacing that hit all the right beats for me.
