Benjamin Nason’s review published on Letterboxd:
Pretty much does everything right. Transitions between comedy and drama feel deceptively effortless as does the way this is staged in settings and situations. Hall is great as were the rest of the performances but I particularly was into Shayna McHayle, who I hope to see in more movies. Definitely one of my favorite films of the year.
P.S. the cut on the last shot is absolutely perfect.
