If we’re not counting Severance, this is easily the best piece of entertainment this year. Kings Epic Adventure, Irregular Show, Mashed Bandicoot are all still great cinematic YTP’s but this somehow is the pinnacle evolution the medium can achieve.
Now let’s just pray unlike Skellington’s Revenge, Letterboxd doesn’t take down this work of art.
Spent the majority of this movie totally slack jawed and confused. Begins as a typical teen romcom then SURPRISE the best friends love interest dies of a sporadic heart attack. ????!!!!???? And then that’s practically never mentioned again because the same friend ends up being pregnant. !!!!????!!!!????
Not convinced I didn’t dream this entire movie up, pretty funny though.
