Rachel Zegler's incredibly powerful theatre kid energy really kind of ruins this unfortunately.
Astoundingly bad. I thought it couldn't get worse than Death on the Nile which opens with a black and white flashback to give us the backstory of...Poirot's mustache, but this somehow managed to sink to even lower depths.
The Christie that this one is based on isn't even good in the first place, which I guess doesn't end up making any difference because this adaptation retains almost nothing from the original story. Just like...why do this!? Why do any of this?? Just pick one of her actually good stories to adapt, there are plenty of them!
