There's one part in this movie where Tobey Maguire's character describes one of Gatsby's parties as a "kaleidoscopic carnival." I think this movie is really well portrayed by that phrase except in the worst way possible. Straight up if you know much about editing this movie is dizzying.
Motivational, inspiring, wholesomely intimate, and an altogether amazing peice of art that I enjoyed through bittersweet tears. It moved me in a very indescribably emotion way that, for a hour-and-a-half, made me forget about the atrocities of 'Old' that I saw earlier in the theater.
