The Girl Chewing Gum

It's a simple joke that leads to something deeper. Phil Solomon called it "the greatest sketch that Monty Python never made" on Facebook and I think that's true. The director's shouts become hilariously more controlling and more desperate. At one point he yells that he wants the big hand of a clock to complete a revolution every hour and the little hand every 12 hours. As his shouts progress they get more frantic, trying to keep up with the way the world moves, and he refers to things moving down or disappearing rather than the camera moving. It's a simple joke, but it reveals the illusion of control that dictates all filmmaking and, ultimately, day to day life.
