Chainsaw man is nothing special
This is the number one sentence used to describe chainsaw man season 1. Anyone will praise the animation, soundtrack and visuals, but in the end, it was nothing special. And I have never disagreed more with the general consensus, even before reading the manga.
I didn't like the first couple of episodes, but when I finished the season, I was satisfied, it was a nice weekly watch, there was definitely better stuff out there tho.…
Now this...this is cinema.
The manga is legitimately one of my favorite things ever, and Fujimoto is probably my favorite author in the industry.
Season 2 is gonna be incredible
