    Ladies in Lavender

Well, it's rather nice to feel like an old english lady once in a while.

  • Camille

It's a good movie but I can't shake the thought that this story is only being told because there was a white casualty. And, according to the character portrayed in the movie, Camille wouldn't be okay with that. I think, very personally, that this kind of stories should stop being told by europeans/americans, they should be told by the people living them and suffering from them. Camille was a tenacious woman, but her story/death is not more important than the ones of those living the conflict from the inside, and I think this movie kind of subtly tells that, contrary to what I understand Camille felt.
