i don’t know if i’m legally allowed to talk about this movie yet but to be totally honest i am sick and tired of this embargo and am officially ready to brag that i saw this a month ago, therefore am cooler than you and you are all losers. moving on.
if you’ve seen the trailer, you’ve seen the movie. it’s simple, and does what it has to do before you get bored. but it stays exciting the entire time! it’s fun! i had a good time! and it stays away from the classic m night shyamalan eye roll moments, or at least as much as possible. i’m not going to get you excited and say that this is his “comeback”, but it is a pretty damn good movie regardless
p.s. some awesome camerawork here actually. i mean there were some shots where i was like gah dayum
p.p.s. there are occasionally some downright bizarre acting choices. this movie is worth seeing for that reason alone
p.p.p.s. there is a twist... and i’m not sure how i feel about it.
