  1. SHERLOCK JR (1924)
  Beginning my planned year of comedy with this well regarded Buster Keaton film which is now almost 100 years old.
  Never seen it before, so am hoping I’ve chosen a good one to kick off with.

  Hoping to watch lots of comedy films (and TV) from every era, including catching up with classic omissions and revisiting my favourites.

  I found myself in the unique position at my midnight screening of being texted by the film director's mother during the trailers. Her reminding me to let her know what I think of her son Gareth's movie afterwards. I had met Mrs Edwards earlier in the year when we found ourselves competing against each other on a BBC gameshow. We've kept in contact and become friends.
