• Merlin

    Merlin

Natural companion piece to The Green Knight. A surprisingly stacked cast. I enjoyed the late 90s effects. Fun!

  • Honeymoon

    Honeymoon

    ★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I wanted to like this more but I could not overcome my hatred of the honeymooners. Luckily, they both die horribly.

  • The Dig

    The Dig

    ★½

There is just only so much repressed archeologist horniness I can take, but this was ok. I liked the cast!

  • The Car

    The Car

    ★★★

I really enjoyed how powerfully transcendent this car was and the spooky way it honked before it killed. The southwestern setting was rather evocative to the point that I darn near felt dusty. This movie made me chuckle several times too. Solid!!

  • Toys

    Toys

    ★★½

This was one of those movies I used to watch all the time as a kid (seems like it was on TV a lot?) and it was always at the back of my mind as something to revisit, especially as I learned of its reputation as uh, not good as I got older. So for my first viewing as an adult, I actually really enjoyed this more than I thought I would. The first 45 - 60 minutes, I remember…

  • Rebecca

    Rebecca

Everything I like about the original is completely absent in this version and what is there I hate with a white hot passion.

  • I'm in Love with a Church Girl

I'm in Love with a Church Girl

    ½

There is a massive DEA manhunt for Ja Rule's character and he's afraid to go to church because he says he's done all these terrible things, but these movies are too squeamish to depict anything remotely sinful. I feel like it would be hard for this movie to really reach anyone out there who think they're bad and unworthy of God's love. That's one of many bad things about it. It was also ridiculously long for what it was.

  • The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall

The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall

I gave this five stars because of the Dame Sir ALW appearance.

  • Love Actually

    Love Actually

    ½

This was like a parody of what I expected Love Actually to be.

  • Roar

    Roar

Cats are the problem and the solution in this incredibly confused and irresponsible effort.

  • The Loft

    The Loft

    ★½

I rated it this highly because I was strangely, perversely entertained throughout, but make no mistake, this is a vile movie that I might just need to elaborate on soon.

  • Little Boy

    Little Boy
