The labyrinth of lies in Dick Long is the cinematic equivalent of those Family Circus cartoons where it's just a dotted trail showing the wayward path of Jeffy or one of the other dork kids. I think it's a credit to this movie that I...feel affection for??...these dumb, dumb characters. I want to make it clear that I DO NOT CONDONE THE THING THEY DID, and I do NOT WANT THEM TO GET AWAY WITH IT PER SE.... I suppose I just feel bad to see them flailing and I want their struggle to be over. It is the cinematic equivalent of a silly little bug flipped around on its back, waving its legs ineffectually. Perhaps one of the legs is bent. :/

Above all, the thing I love about this movie is it's one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. I chuckle a lot at it!
