This whole film feels like a whole convoluted mess. Everyone is in it for themselves. So many people change sides. But the final battle was ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Probably my favorite scene from this franchise. The whole 30-40 minute sequence is just stuff you can't take your eyes off of. I hear the next 2 are bad, but I might check them out still.

The Stepford Wives 1975
Last movie for Film Appreciation Class!
This is definitely a weird film that might be viewed as a cult classic by some. It's somewhat unpredictable and it's got some suspense. It reminds me a little of Get Out. Just not 100% invested by this. It's a very datable film.
Overall, this class introduced me to some brilliant films. Paths of Glory was definitely the best movie to come out of this film class.

The Killer 2023
David nooo ๐ญ This was the first Fincher film I really disliked. I so wanted to like this. The trailer brought me so much anticipation.
The script is really, really weak. It's disjointed and all over the place. The pacing was below subpar. I really didn't like the narration heavy plot. No thrill at all, and very few engaging sequences. I just feel like nothing really changed from the movie's beginning to its conclusion.
I do like the lighting and color palette though. A mix of Se7en and The Social Network. Cinematography was on point too, but that's it for me.
Extremely disappointed.

Bottoms 2023
"The Holocaust. It happened." Thank you Marshawn, very cool ๐. Always nice to see Beast Mode.
I don't know if I've ever been represented more accurately than when that one girl said "I love David Fincher!!!!" Literally me.
Anyways, this was a whole lot of fun, which is what I expected. I thought the ending was a little over the top, but it still provided some laughs. Great chemistry from everyone involved. This film looks like it was so fun to be a part of.
