for a total running time of 12 minutes, this is a truly wonderful short film.

This film was an absolute trip to see. Kon explores the realm of dreams, subconscious as well as aspirations in this double life science fiction. The most memorable part for me was when Konakawa opens up a web browser and is able to enter it. if only that were possible.

To start off, this is easily my favorite animated film of all time.

The animation is unlike any other anime the time it was made, with more realistic features, such as smaller eyes and larger noses. the frames run smoothly and are pleasant to watch.

If you have never seen Satoshi Kon's Perfect Blue, I advise you to watch with full attention, as this is a blink and you'll miss it type of film. If you have already seen it once, watch it again. I assure you that you will see things you never saw the first time around.

It's captivating, confusing, and magnificent.
