I watched this film with my son also. It’s funny John Travolta did this film off the heals from his blockbuster Saturday Night Fever. He was viewed as more of a pretty face and not that great of an actor. A big however is that he was great in this movie and should have gotten more accolades for his performance
But that would have been unpopular with the established critics of the times. Seeing it for the first time now 40 years later with an unbiased view was great because it’s a great thriller. I really enjoyed it!

I  saw this movie with my son at a Movie Theatre in E Max. Man it was great to be back at the movies. I could not think of any other way to see this movie. For context I did see Top Gun when it first came out as a major blockbuster and several times since then. Now regarding Top Gun Maverick, what a fun ride. I loved the action especially all the fighter jet scenes ( absolutely breathtaking) Maverick’s…

I love this film! I have already watched it twice and cried both times. I love the way the characters were brought to life especially Jaime.  The school scene was so suspenseful with a background of kids playing (awesome)! I am so proud of the director and his crew (all who helped) Words cannot describe how proud I am to be the Director’s Father. The camera work, the scenery, the color, the acting and sound were wonderful. The last scene with the credits running will forever elicit powerful emotion from me.
Thank you son for sharing this with all of us. It is Beautiful!!

I had the great opportunity to watch this with my son! The Movie is centered around a 15 year old in 1973, so it was pretty relatable as I was 14 in 1973.  The soundtrack, the art on the walls, the vehicles and the settings were so real for me. Now the Movie, this was a really fun, funny movie and it shows that a great script and director does not need big name Actors. To me, the two main…
