“Death has come to your little town, Sheriff.”
I must be missing something. Everyone LOVES the 1978 classic Halloween... except me. I found it uninteresting, disappointing and boring. It lacked intensity and that spooky Halloween vibe that movies like these give off.
The acting was atrocious and the pacing was god awful slow. And even for 1978, the killing scenes (the very few that it had) were just as bad as well. The score was decent, not good, but decent... despite a main theme that felt out of place everytime it was used and it was annoying. I’m sorry if this review is slanderous... but I guess this is that one movie that everyone loves that I just don’t. Trust me, I wanted to love it too.
