In a movie full of slow and precise long takes, I think J Carp’s ultimate cineflex might be where PJ Soles wanders through a house and switches on different lights while the camera follows her and then pulls back to reveal Michael Myers mouth breathing. I’m still struck dead by how much Halloween does with so little!
