In the Good Old Summertime 1949
Definitely one of the top 5 movie versions of The Shop Around the Corner
-
For Me and My Gal 1942
What starts as a fun musical comedy turns into (surprise!) a harrowing film about the horrors of World War I
-
6 Underground 2019
In the opening 20-minute-long action sequence Michael Bay destroys much of Florence, Italy, has his heroes injure multiple innocent civilians, and features a bloody human eyeball (with extremely long optic nerve) as a key prop.
This is pure, uncut Michael Bay, with all the good and bad that entails.
(also I paid $20 to see it in a theater)

Give a Girl a Break 1953
A movie about men putting three women through emotional torture but wow the dance sequences are great!
-
Pacific Rim: Uprising 2018
I'm probably going to forget most of this movie by tomorrow, but I will NEVER forget the scene where we see Charlie Day is married to a giant alien brain
