    Funny Face

    ★★

There’s nothing funny about a film that feels not complete. Funny face thinks it’s much more dark and complex than it actually is. Even the corpo suits just seem lame as fuck with their non-important meetings and their prostitutes that are really just extras. If this films goal is to be as uninteresting as possible, it does exactly what it sets out to do. The suit in the limo scene that keeps screaming MONEY at the top of his lungs is beyond stupid

    The Green Knight

    ★★★★½

The green knight is so fucking metal! I’m going to pretend this was my debut back to the big screen and not count quiet place 2...

  • No Sudden Move

    No Sudden Move

    ★★★½

Not your conventional gangster film. I think the journey gets a little bit long and confusing at times. And the fish eye camera was used so many times it made me dizzy occasionally. But it’s a good ride that’s riddled with so many Soderbergh-isms that it’s hard not to enjoy this one! The less you know about the plot the better. It’s a total dad film.

  • Deerskin

    Deerskin

    ★★★½

This mans strange obsession with a deerskin jacket gets more and more ridiculous by the minute. But all that ridiculousness and chaos are balanced out by absolutely stunning shots of the beautiful mountains and jackets... tons of jackets in this film.

Jean Dujardin lookin like Joaquin Pheonix in deerskin head to toe.

  • I Stand Alone

    I Stand Alone

    ★★★½

What does Gaspar have against unborn babies? This one is very hard to watch at times. Following around this scumbag of a man while he beats and ridicules people but somehow always finds an explanation behind his actions is truly infuriating. Gaspar is clearly obsessed with themes pertaining to incest, abortion, and rape. After watching most of his films I realize I stand Alone is as grim as it gets.

main character looks like Doug Ford

Alex Wolff deserves the same amount of praise Cage is getting right now. Both performances were fucking fantastic!
