Definitely better than what most Americans think filmmaking is or can be. It can be simplistic with a masterful handling of the camera and fully formed characters. It can be monochromatic, quiet, and bleak. This film defies expectations and tackles deeply sensitive material we can only imagine writing about. My heart hurts and wish so much love for this film.
