Glad I didn’t miss the opportunity to see this in a theatre. Better late then never. It didn’t really connect with me as much as I’d hoped to but there are so many cool things in here that makes it hard not to like it. Happy to see Eggers’ living every filmmaker’s dream which is having a shit ton of money to make a film about the things you loved as a child. I was a big fan of the violence especially the scene where Skarsgard ate someone’s throat and then begun howling. So many dudes shouting and screaming here. A very loud movie. Also the final battle in the end goes hard. This was hardcore.
