To say much about this film would spoil the fun. It got elements of drama, fantasy, and horror, all involving children. It's made in a Nordic - almost observing - style, which we don't see much like in Hollywood films. It takes time, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a slow burn. Calling it Chronicle with children is such a short change of what it is, it's more similar to Eskil Voight (the director) penned Thelma. If you like that film I suggest you give this a look. Any director would be proud of having this as their first directed feature film.

Not my favorite Keanu Reeves film, but it got a lot of unjust criticism at release, both from critics and Hellblazer fans (Constantine doesn't need to be blonde). It's from a time when CGI was still a little janky, but it doesn't really matter much, and they make it part of the style. While the action isn't great, I really enjoy the story and the character.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I seriously have no idea what to rate it. It's bad. It's awesome. It's ridiculous. It makes no sense. I have seen nothing like this, and you got to respect it. You might not like this film, but there is really nothing like this. Hardcore Henry and Crank 2 come close if they were trying to look like a giant blockbuster with motorcycle chase, escape from an airplane, and helicopter mayhem, but non a tenth of does film's budget. To…

This is pretty awesome. Could it have been better with a more traditional Die Hard structure, and not told in-media-res with flashbacks. Probably, but the pace of the film is relentless, and there are at least 8 action scenes in under 90-minutes, so there isn't much time to dwell on it.

It has kinda a video game feel, where the Princess goes from bosses to bosses, with some platforming and stealth levels in between. It's directed by Vietnamese director Le-Van…
