one year ago I wanted to learn how to do one pull up. I (unknowingly) joined the same gym that Jonathan Majors goes to in real life. today, I randomly did a pull up. it took one whole year and I never want to do it again. what I’m saying is that this movie is about me too. ❤️

cruise sets out to save the adult drama by smuggling one into a cool movie for bros where planes go zoom zoom. knew I was in the right place when the mission impossible trailer, the jerry bruckheimer logo, and then finally the “and val kilmer” credit all got raucous rounds of applause. kept checking on the old guy next to me and he spent the entire third act with a big ol’ silly grin on his face. movies are so good and the theatrical experience is so important :)

1) Michael Giacchino owes John Williams a check. (Truly the first few notes of the imperial march)
2) Rpat great cuz he just sort of stands there and doesnt do too much. Sign of good actor.
3) Zoe Kravitz sometimes has bronx/gotham accent sometimes doesnt.
4) Definitely the most beautiful superhero movie youre gonna see.
5) paul dano just playing paul dano in any movie. But still kinda works. Also, how i imagine he acts when hes in an argument…

Literally I enjoyed this and am excited for the sequels. This was the best use of Paul Dano in all of cinema history.
