    Last Night in Soho

Get ready to re-enter the swingin' 60's!

I don't even know where to begin. So the plot excellently splits two narratives, one in the present day 2021 and on during the 1960's. Both of which take place in London.

Elouise is a sheltered and awkward girl just entering University to study fashion. It is confirmed that durig the past she has had problems with mental health related to schizophrenia.

During dream like states, she watches and at times embodies Sandy,…

  • GoodFellas

It's the definitive gangster movie! I love it so much!

  • Soul

I certainly found my soul tonight.

Soul is really uplifting and tells a great story of finding self confidence and staying true to your dreams.

  • Silver Linings Playbook

    Silver Linings Playbook

The best film I've seen in months!

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas

    The Nightmare Before Christmas

    'This is Halloween...Halloween...'

After all the festive shit I've watched on Netflix, it's so refreshing to see a decent Christmas film.

Jack is my second favourite skeleton behind Papyrus (Undertale).

  • Joker

I'm absolutely astounded eveytime I watch this gritty-thriller. The writing is absolutely amazing, showing a proto-possible joker and the way he descends into chaos.

Joaquin Phoenix's performance is amazing and his range with the character "Arthur Fleck" is incredible.

The two best scenes are the intense train scene, which has a visual reprosentation of anger and anxiety as Arthur snaps. Along with the incredible back-and-forth dialogue between Arthur and Murray. Leading to an immense existential crisis.

I think you could very easily remove the DC elements and you're left with a broken man, being stomped on by society; with the effects that has.

  • Spider-Man 2

    Spider-Man 2

    Spider-Man...Spider-Man...Does whatever a spider can.

I'm so tired...You know, I'm watching the extended cut...

  • Howl's Moving Castle

    Howl's Moving Castle

My God! Once again, Ghibli knocks it out of the fucking park! The characters are whimsicallly interesting, the art and animation is incredible and the voice acting is also amazing! First time watch and I love it! Will definitely watch it again!

  • Ratatouille

Alright, being a huge germaphobe I never thought in a million years that I would feel bad for a rat but they seriously humanise Remmy and create something magical. Absolutely great Pixar film, one of if not the best animated films they've ever produced. The characters are well fleshed out, the dynamic between Remmy and Liguini is amazing and Skinner is the right direction Pixar should take their villains in the future. To summarize, if you're looking for a great family flick to enjoy then please check this film out. I cannot recommend this enough!
