A film filled with emotion that built up to a devastating climax bringing me to the verge of tears. All with the help of the beautiful yet haunting soundtrack by Sakamoto. A film that will stick with me for years to come especially the very final shot.

With this, we are now introduced to a new form of nepotism within the film industry. Where if a film "content creator" has a big enough community they will take the schlock out of their ass slam it on the table and then be proceeded with claps and cheers by their fanbases and film festivals worldwide, only increasing their ego further and further.

Aftersun 2022
Feels highly manipulative with no reason whatsoever, with an emotionally distant story that attempts to create an intimate feeling yet fails completely. This is a shame since the two main leads to a good job with what they are given but everything else is where it all falls apart. Felt absolutely nothing from this one and quite surprised at the reactions that people have towards this one.
