Obistrike’s review published on Letterboxd:
For such a dramatic tale, Exodus: The Many Beards of Bale is unbelievably boorish. It's also woefully miscast, biblically overlong and failed to elicit any kind of emotional response, except apathy of course. After a generic and, dare I say it, tedious opening salvo it was the uninspired choice to represent God as a untalented child actor which finally broke my camel's back. The CGI plague work looked pretty at least... pretty dull.
A laughable fail from the usually reliable, occasionally spectacular Ridley Scott. Please don't waste your time, even if it's a Sunday.
