  Garfield is a thought-provoking masterpiece. It makes us think about change. Garfield’s feud with the dog and the change of attention makes me think philosophicaly about Garfield. It accurately depicts Garfield’s fear of change.

  Also if we dig a little bit deeper into Garfield’s character. He is a clear example of greed and selfishness. Stealing food. Kicking the dog out. He is clearly a depiction of two of the deadly sins:
