    The Fabelmans

Listen, this is obviously a very well made movie, I basically enjoyed every scene in this movie, but I can't stop thinking of it as nothing more than a beautiful hollow cake.

What is this movie even about? It felt like I waited 2 hours for something to happen and it never did, I wish all of those beautifully written dialogue scenes had some sort of importance to anything, but they don't and the conflicts in this movie feel formulaic and irrelevant, so there was nothing to grab me.

I don't remember ever watching a movie and feeling as little as I feel right now.

    James Cameron take notes.

You don't need great looking water, you just need creativity.

  • Decision to Leave

    Decision to Leave

What a weirdly structured movie, it does work sometimes but I think it mostly doesn't, the pacing is not great through some sections and that really hurts the movie.

It's visually stunning, not only because of amazing cinematography but also because the editing is bold, innovative and very intentional, definitely one of the strong suits of the movie.

This movie disguised itself as a criminal thriller and I was deeply disappointed when it really wasn't, it was something much simpler…

  • Halloween Ends

    Halloween Ends

This movie rivals A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) as the worst major franchise sequel ever, there's pretty much nothing of quality in this movie, it uses every trick on the "How to make a bad horror movie" book and for the love of God, I don't want to hear the word "Evil" ever again, the last movie was bad enough with that shit.

Let's all remember than in the last movie, Michael Myers was served a beautiful buffet of fatal blows which he just gracefully took, but now he gets overpowered by a 60 year old lady.

Good Luck to You, Leo Grande

I'd like to start by saying, that I have a great respect for a movie that is this brave; in what it says, in how it is portrayed, in how the movie basically has 1 setting and also by the amazing work done by both actors here.

This movie talks about very interesting topics, mainly about sexuality but also about personal freedom and self-love, it's a very competent script with very good dialogue, my main complaint would be with some…

This like Rocky but kinda cringy.
But seeing Adam Sandler in an NBA court is pretty worth it.

  • The Black Phone

    The Black Phone

    Why do people like this?

Mediocre acting, generic visuals and cinematography, uninteresting and under developed characters and a story that really has nothing to grab my attention.

The bad guy has a cool voice, that's about it.

  • Thor: Love and Thunder

    Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor is back to being kinda boring.
Marvel movies are getting more creative with their visuals, there's some pretty cool scenes here because of it, but they can't stop making scripts like this, the villain has an ok back story but it feels like nothing new, while Christian Bale was good, we was also underused. I feel like this villain could've been more, why not shows us some clips of him killing gods? (like that giant one), maybe show some…

  • Watcher

Visually interesting, I liked the music and I really like the mood, Bucharest is a super interesting choice for this movie to be set and there's definitely clever ideas here but...
This plot doesn't cut it, so predictable and straight. The characters were all dumb, and at points the message of the movie stopped being cleverly shown to us and started being shoved down our throats.
Character interactions are poor, specially between Maika Monroe's character (Julia) and Karl Glusman's (Francis),…

Tom Cruise was not cool in the 80's, he's kinda ugly and looks like a nerd.

Also this movie is boring.... as fuck!

  • Mystic River

    Mystic River

I did find myself to be really entertained by the movie, the characters were very good and I loved their dynamic but I had major problems with this movie, the pacing was very strange, the 2nd act struggled with moving the plot along and I didn't feel like there was a nice ascending of reveals, most of the plot gets explained in the 3rd act very quickly. Besides, the ending, without spoiling it, was quite anti climatic, at least half of it.
