This Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting crazy. This dimension has Thanos killing Mantis and sleeping with Scarlet Witch, who also happens to be his daughter. Oh, and Nick Fury runs some sort of shady operation.
Man, I can't wait to see what other dimensions will bring!!

The Thing 1982
A friend of mine that had never seen this before decided he was finally going to watch this, so I decided I would do the same and finally rewatch this. Damn, it has been too long.
This is an absolute masterpiece of a film.
That score.
That acting.
The cast.
The amazing effects.
The facial expression on Wilford Brimley's face while doing the autopsy.
It builds the tension superbly as you are always trying to determine if they are an imitator or not.
Kurt Russell and John Carpenter were magic together.
Truly excellent.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie 2023
My 4 year and I had the afternoon to ourselves so we decided to see the new Paw Patrol movie.
Was pleasantly surprised that it was a fun time.
Animation was better than the show and gave it a different feel from the show as well, which was refreshing.
Kim Kardashian and two of her children provide voices, along with Chris Rock and Lil Rel Howery.
My daughter gave it a 10 out of 10 and said she looks forward to watching it again tomorrow with her sister.
So kids will like it, parents know what to expect but won't hate the time.

Big Trouble in Little China 1986
This is comfort food right here.
One of the greatest movies of all time and still the best fantasy adventure movie there is.
You won't find anything else like this movie. Having Kurt Russell be inept and the women be capable, for sure not common for the time and for the genre.
It looked amazing, so thank you Scream Factory for the excellent transfer.
I don't truly know how to describe my joy for this movie, but when I feel shitty and need a pick me up, Big Trouble In Little China is always there to help pick me up.
Masterpiece!

Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker 1981
I can't believe I hadn't seen this before, this was an absolute blast of an 80's horror movie.
Some excellent performances from everyone, especially Susan Tyrell, who is dynamite as the overly possessive aunt.
It dips into some really interesting and crazy ideas, they didn't seem to mind brining incest into the mix.
Love the poster for this movie as well, very memorable.
You've got nudity, violence, gore, over the top performances, Bo Svenson and even Bill Paxton shows up.…
