watched the final cut, which is superior to the other versions for obvious reasons, except for the added unicorn scene. no matter what any critical film theorist or film school dude bro says, the inclusion of deckard possibly being a replicant is completely non-compelling and undercuts the entire film. 

rutger hauer is exceptional and that speech remains absolutely iconic. fascinating concept with seminal visuals that literally birthed the aesthetic of all future cyber punk media, but the story fucking suffers for it. you cannot review this film without mentioning the word ‘boring’ at least once. otherwise, ridley scott is an insane person and the direction in this is hot, steaming, rancid garbage. 2049 FTW
