This was like Creed except Rocky is Michael, Donnie is Vincent, and Adrian is still alive and is Rocky’s sister...
I did it, I finally convinced myself to watch this movie. I gotta admit, it has its moments. But the bad outweighs the good, and the runtime didn’t help at all.
Don’t get me started on the incestuous relationship between the two new characters (who I am not fond of by the way). What was that for?
Notable things I liked was the flashbacks of Michael, young Al Pacino in his prime. And that scene where he screams in agony, he actually saved me from giving this a lower rating.
The ending was an attempt to match The Godfather’s way better, and dare I say, iconic conclusion. It just can’t be topped.
p.s. just think that it would be better for me to think that this didn’t happen at all...
