Noah Omdal’s review published on Letterboxd:
A lot of great stuff has already been said about this movie, but fuck it I’m throwing in my piece too. So much damn fun. Honestly early on I thought it was going to hit the cliches too hard, but while it did go all out on the homage here, it was just so tasteful and enjoyable to watch. The themes around class and race were so interesting and that pairing with a who-dunnit was original and fresh. The acting was solid (especially de Armas, who I’ve been in love with since the new Blade Runner), the colors and angles engaging, and talk about a southern accent! Was reading an Agatha Christie novel when I saw it too which made it all the more fun. Highly recommend.
