Still a stone cold classic imo! I try not to call many things a "deconstruction" cuz it's sorta passe but this really is, granting dimension to both David Dunn's stock nuclear family role and Mr. Glass's villainy. Just a ton of richness to everything going on here, like the relationship of football's violence to that of the common superhero and how that ties directly into Dunn's central struggle in the film, and of course the enormous sacrifices that have to be wrought to even manifest the vision of exceptionalism Glass is looking for. Best blocking of all time imo.
