The Godfather

The Godfather ★★★★½

This is a very well-made movie. Obviously, it's one of the best movies of all-time according to most people, and I too loved it. The story is weaved together so well, and Al Pacino and Marlon Brando did the best they probably could've with their roles. They were pretty fantastic. I thought the theme of family was very interesting to watch, and I also think the theme is going to be relatable to just about anyone with a good relationship with their family. Family first. This movie didn't have as much action as I thought it would but I don't really care--it didn't need action to be compelling, and the scenes that did have action in them definitely earned it, particularly this restaurant scene that had me actually nervous when it was happening--it's incredible to have a film do something like that to you. I thought it was a little long, but besides that, I can really only talk positives about it all day. Definitely see this!
