You know that feeling when you were a kid, sitting at the dinner table and your family & relatives are laughing and cryptically making eye contact with each other? Now you’re finally old enough to understand all the family trauma over dinner and you kinda just wanna stand up, wipe your mouth and say “Welp! my Uber’s here. Peace ✌️🏃‍♀️💨“

I watched this in the theatre and it genuinely scared me. I’m specifically talking about that naked middle-aged man standing creepily in the dark closet with the whitest Colgate commercial smile. Plus, that now signature A24 jump scare tactic which is a cluster of naked old people. It never fails to give me the ick! 

Toni Collette, one of my favourite actors really made me feel like I should be guilty for not grieving with her. Her family is going through some serious loss and I feel like I’m awkwardly patting her back and going “it’s ok Toni Collette. You will probably win an Oscar for this”.
