  It's got a lot of ideas, but can't find anywhere new or satisfying to take them. It beats home it's central point by the time the first act is over and never seems to be interested in being something bigger than a power trip fantasy. Carey Mulligan is wasted here on a nothing character, and some of the most sophomoric dialogue I've seen in a film this young decade.
