Wahrscheinlich gemeinsam mit Friday the 13th VI das beste Slasher Sequel aller Zeiten. Der Fokus von Dream Warriors liegt dabei trotz zwei bis drei deftigen Szenen weniger auf Horror, dafür mehr auf den sympathischen Figuren (toller Cast btw!!!) und Fantasyelementen. Der Sprung dahin gelingt famos, da Freddy selbst mittlerweile auf dem Weg zum Popstar ist. Die Traumsequenzen werden immer spektakulärer und die Sprüche immer derber. Auch audiovisuell gefällt der Film, vor allem die zahlreichen aufwendigen Kulissen und Spezialeffekte. Ganz viel Liebe für diesen kreativen Schatz eines Slashers.

Probably together with Friday the 13th VI the best Slasher Sequel ever. The focus of Dream Warriors is less on horror and more on the likeable characters (great cast btw!!!) and fantasy elements despite two or three solid scenes. The leap there is a great success, as Freddy himself is now on his way to becoming a pop star. The dream sequences become more and more spectacular and the sayings more and more crude. The film also pleases audiovisually, especially the numerous elaborate backdrops and special effects. A lot of love for this creative treasure of a slasher.
