Deliberate pacing that can make the first act a bit dull but necessary. Really picks up for a strong finish. Park Chan Wook squeezes every drop from the story.

The camera placement and movement is pretty top notch. Somehow makes what should be bland dinner scenes exciting.

All the fantastic imagery in the world can't save you from a single note, boring movie. And the imagery was fantastic.

This movie is like listening to a song where the drummer is killing it, vocals are spot on, the base is solid, but the lead guitarist is playing just a G chord the whole way through.
