I think this is my favorite Lynch movie.
After two years of being hemmed in by the ludicrous laws of network TV, he got to take the shackles off this story and stretch his arms. The dream sequence with the painting in Laura's room, the repeated discoveries that her abuser is her father, the heartbreak when she sees Donna following her down the same path. All so heartbreaking.
Alright, fuck it, time to watch season 3 again.
