Clay Vaughn’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was a blast. I love the mystical atmospheres that Eggers conjures so deftly. Whole cast was great, with standout jaw-droppers from Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicole Kidman, and Ethan Hawke. And of course I can't forget Bjork who stole the show in her single scene.
Glad I came into this not realizing that it's the legend Hamlet was based on, so I only had suspicions about Amleth's mother. But the action is so epic and the cinematography so beautiful that I'm sure knowing the story won't diminish this one bit on inevitable rewatches.
